You don’t get to choose who you will help.

At a certain point, the call to heal is not up to your ego. You don’t get to choose who you will help; you are drafted. As your soul matures, you may be asked to carry pain that is not your own, and the work is to know yourself well enough to recognize: this isn’t mine. In that knowing, you stop reacting, stop numbing, and begin to understand that some pain is necessary—and you no longer live inside the polarity of it.
