We Never Go Backwards
We never go backwards — but we are deep in the throes of what happens when we drink our own Kool-Aid. We’ve become drunk on it and we’ve become arrogant. In our intellectual arrogance, we’ve defined spirituality as an intellectual journey, when in truth it’s a journey of humility. We’ve shaped it to match what we want it to be, instead of what it is.

The world is changing at a profound level, and those changes are not happening outside of you—they are reshaping you from within. In this workshop, we’ll explore how these collective shifts reach into the very structure of your heart and soul, redirecting the course of your experiences because they must. You are not a passive observer of this evolving world but an essential participant in its transformation. Your life, your choices, and even your interior reactions are part of a larger movement of consciousness unfolding across our time.
Many of the beliefs we hold about what life “should” feel like are simply not true. One of the most persistent illusions is that our hearts should always be filled with love and happiness. When we encounter emptiness or uncertainty, we may assume something has gone wrong. Yet these “deserts of the heart” are sacred invitations—moments when the soul pauses to release what no longer serves. In this workshop, we will reframe emptiness as grace, explore how transformation arises through loss, and learn to recognize the hidden wisdom that emerges when the heart makes space for renewal.
