This is the design of the soul
You were born to sense each other. This is the design of the soul. That is why we practice holy listening—why you quiet yourself and say, ‘God, I’m listening. I’m listening for you.’ Prayer is not about asking for things; it is asking for the strength to be what you are—to sustain your sensitivities, to sustain the fact that you sense other people. And if you cannot respond, then at least send grace. Do that much.

We are living in extraordinary times—and it is precisely because they are extraordinary that we must talk about grace and God. Not long ago, this subject would never have entered mainstream conversation in the way it must today. The very idea that the major religious myths of humanity could be colliding, dissolving, or transforming at once would have seemed inconceivable. And yet that is exactly what is happening. The cosmic stories that have shaped civilizations for thousands of years are being reanimated—and in many cases, their lights are going out.
This workshop explores what it means to live in such a moment. What does grace mean when the old structures tremble? How do we understand God when the mythic lights are dimming? By examining the mythic threads that have guided humanity—and recognizing how they are changing—we begin to understand not only our historical moment, but ourselves.
