How to get to Assisi
From Rome
The solution we advise you to reach Assisi by plane is to land in Rome and continue to Assisi by bus or train.
The main international gateway is Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport, known as Fiumicino (FCO) (30 km / 19 mi southwest of Rome, tel. +39 06.65953640).
There are daily bus connections from Rome Fiumicino Airport (International Terminal “C”) and Assisi (St. Peter’s Square)
Other Airports
The nearest airport is Perugia San Francesco d’Assisi – Umbria Intl. Airport (PEG). The airport is 20 mins away from the main hotels by taxi.
There are also international airports in Pisa and Florence and Assisi is easily reachable by these two cities by train, bus, or car.
Stay extensions
After careful consideration, we have decided that managing stay extensions will be best handled individually. To extend your reservation, we kindly ask that you reach out to the hotels directly. Links to our event hotels are provided below.
Additionally, for those planning to arrive in Italy early, we recommend booking your first night in Rome or another city of your choice. Many participants are considering this option, and we encourage you to connect with fellow travelers to coordinate plans and share rides.
Companions
We are unable to accommodate non-attending companions at this event.
Terms & Conditions
Registration fees include single occupancy hotel accommodations, breakfast, and Tuesday lunch. Travel expenses and other drinks & meals are not included.
Deposit Payment – Please note your deposit payment is non-refundable. Balance payments are due no later than March 27, 2024. If balance payment not received by this deadline, you will forfeit your registration and deposit.
Cancellation Policy – Written cancellation immediately after registration: $1,500.00 US cancellation fee per person. Cancellation after April 10, 2024: 50% of total workshop cost per person. No refunds after May 24, 2024. No refund for unused portions of the tour, including but not limited to, missed meals, hotel nights and sightseeing.

Whilst we do not anticipate changes, in the case of unforeseen site closures or limitations, changes may be made at our discretion. In the rare instance of a change, a suitable substitution will be made in line with the theme of the retreat.
To mitigate the risk of unforeseen circumstances causing you to cancel, we recommend you purchase travel insurance.
