Choice is about trusting the sacred to guide us through what we cannot see, instead of fighting our way through events that have already occurred—for anything in the physical world is already history. It took me a long time to realize that mystical truth, to truly grasp the power that the stuff of the physical world is the end product of our choices, not the beginning.

We are living through one of the most significant passages in the history of civilization. One of the great shifts of our time—perhaps the great shift—is that how we understand God is changing. We cannot afford to miss this moment. Just as people today look back on the Renaissance and wonder what it was like to be alive during such a transformational era, future generations will ask the same about this time. What was it like to witness the world shift from a planetary to a galactic community? Did we even know it was happening? We are the ones alive now, and with that comes profound spiritual responsibility.

In this workshop, we will explore the inner mechanics of how choices are made through the lens of spiritual direction. What questions should you ask yourself? What does meaningful personal reflection involve? How do you weigh short- and long-term consequences, and how do you move forward without demanding guarantees? Not a day goes by without making at least one significant choice. And when you understand the sacred power contained in even a single choice, you’ll realize you are never without power, and never truly helpless.
