Don’t ever condemn your own life. Never say to heaven, ‘It’s not enough.’ When you pray to God, say, ‘Show off today. Let me see what you’re up to.’ Pray like you’re crazy. Pray like anything’s possible. Pray like there is an angel next to you talking to you all the time. Because there is.

There are certain rare jewels that shine like inner lights in the soul. They illuminate our way through both rigorous challenges and the smaller passages of daily life.
