Introduction to ENTERING THE CASTLE

Hi Everyone:
On September 9 - 11, 2005, I will be doing a workshop entitled, an Introduction to ENTERING THE CASTLE: Spiritual Direction for Dialoging With Your Soul, for Wisdom University in Oakland, CA. Wisdom University is dedicated to uniting all the world's traditions of wisdom and sacred literature, bringing together the finest scholars to share ideas and offer classes in their respective fields. My workshop is both for students of Wisdom U. (ie, for credit) as well as open to the public.
The workshop, is an Introduction ENTERING THE CASTLE, was created for people who feel called to pursue a deeper experience of the Divine through engaging in intimate dialogs with their soul. Many individuals are now ready to move forward in their spiritual life, accepting the possibility that they have become a "mystic without a monastery" and that their role in life is now one of "mystical service" to humanity. This path of service includes learning how to channel grace, how to be a positive force for change through prayer, how to heal through every action, and how to engage with your world through the castle of your soul. The task now is how to be "in" the world, no matter how grand or small your world is. Few people are called to start healing centers and do other public undertakings; most people are called to make a difference within the world they know, and with they people they have a sacred contract to walk this life with every day. This workshop will offer serious instruction about the interior practice essential to working with the power of one's soul and how to direct that force into positive action. The nature of mysticism and what it means to be a mystic is also a central theme. This workshop will close with a healing session on how to "channel grace" to oneself, to another, and to the global community. The content of this workshop is based upon my upcoming book, entitled, ENTERING THE CASTLE.
For CMED Students: CMED classes are now licensed through Wisdom University, which is licensed through the state of California. Wisdom U. is presently working toward national accreditation. Should you want to pursue a degree through Wisdom U., both the current classes of Sacred Contracts and the Mysticism workshop are now licensed.
To the general public: If you are interested in taking this workshop for credit, please inform the registration office of Wisdom U. when registering for this workshop as you will then be responsible for completing class assignments based on the subject matter of this class. That information will be provided to you.
Even if you cannot attend this workshop, please take a moment to look at Wisdom U's web site. I believe the vision that compels us to join together as scholars, visionaries, artists, philosophers, political spokespeople, and environmentalists - among others - is a prime example of "mystical activism" in the world today. I do hope you will join me for this workshop. I believe many people know what it is to feel the stirrings of the mystic in their soul. I hope to be able to help individuals on that path become active channels for grace in this world.
