Before I started studying Kabbalah, I had a lot of unanswered questions about my purpose in life, the purpose of life in general... even questions about the existence of God. The religious education I'd received as a child gave me plenty of information, but it didn't help me connect to the Creator in the deep spiritual way that I was looking for. And more importantly, the knowledge I had gained didn't help me find happiness in life.
From the moment I began studying Kabbalah, I found what I was looking for. I soon understood why I was here - why we are here as humanity - and how to live life in a way that brought me fulfillment in so many ways.
Kabbalah is such an incredible wisdom - it provides all the answers to the mysteries of life by describing how the spiritual and physical laws of our universe operate. While most of us try to control our lives through manipulating physical laws, the Zohar, the sacred text of Kabbalah, explains that acting in harmony with the spiritual universe is actually what brings complete fulfillment in our physical world and lives.
I want to share with you one of the most influential lessons I've learned from Kabbalah - it's about where our personal power and spiritual protection is derived. Kabbalah teaches us how to "receive" fulfillment at the core metaphysical level of consciousness. Once we understand the true spiritual source of happiness, we can begin to connect to that source and receive all that we want from life. The first secret that kabbalistic sages teach is that all abundance emanates from the Creator's light force. When an individual experiences any type of lack, from a kabbalistic perspective, it is only because a person is blocking the power and abundance that is waiting for them. The Light of the Creator is undifferentiated, infinite and it contains all the solutions to any current or potential problem we will encounter in our lives.
Many people have the misconception that the Creator does not want to fulfill their needs because they are not worthy of abundance. The Creator's light, as opposed to people's logic, does not make judgmental calculations like this. The only desire of the Creator's force is to fill every individual's soul according to that vessel's capacity to receive.
Awareness is the first and most important step in making the connection. The ultimate source of our power, the Light force of God, lies outside of us. Our willpower, personal discipline and other attributes of our internal nature can only go so far. Kabbalah explains how to tap into this power, and actually provides tools that fortify our consciousness and assist us in strengthening our connections. When awareness is activated and then manifested through actions, all forms of anxiety, fear and depression will be consistently avoided and happiness will abound. I've been studying Kabbalah for over a decade, and the changes that I've seen it bring to my life, and to the students I've taught over the years are remarkable. I've seen pure miracles. I hope you'll pursue the study of Kabbalah so that you, too, can bring all the abundance to your life that you deserve, and remove all the chaos that was never meant to be a part of your life.
All the best,

INTRODUCTION:
THE SALON: THIRD EDITION
FIVE RULES FOR STAYING IN PRESENT TIME
THE THIRD TRUTH: LIVING IN PRESENT TIME IS
THE MOST EMPOWERED STATE OF BEING
In all spiritual texts, an emphasis is placed upon achieving a state of consciousness in which your awareness is fully in "present time". Whether the scripture is Islamic, Christian, Buddhist, or Jewish, among others, the great masters have continually instructed their students to strive for the goal of maintaining their spirits fully in their body. One particular story in the New Testament made a very deep impression on me, particularly given my interest in healing, in which Jesus instructed people to "leave the dead alone" and live in the present day. By "the dead", he was not just referring to people who have passed on. He was referring to everything from the past that had no purpose in the present moment.
THE HERE AND NOW
Continuing with the subject of the effectiveness of Energy Medicine that opened this section, in observing why these techniques were more inclined to have temporary results as opposed to permanent, I realized that the key lay in understanding the significance of energy itself, particularly its multiple meanings. Energy refers much more than to whether we are exhausted or not. Energy and spirit are one in the same essence. When we are depleted in energy, we are depleted in spirit. Energy Medicine requires that we use our spirit in conjunction with whatever techniques we may be employing in our healing process. An energetic method or technique, regardless of what it is, needs to be "animated". Our life force needs to be infused into it, in the same way that breath was infused into earth and life was created. The more energy we have in present time, the more powerful any technique becomes precisely because its animation factor is enhanced. It is our energy that, in keeping with the subject of alchemy from the last SALON, transforms a substance, such as aromatherapy, from fragrant oil to its energetic properties. The lack of energy reduces its healing potential and here's the deeper reason: the lack of energy is the same as breathing "time" into a healing method because the lack of energy means that you are fragmented into a number of time zones. This fragmentation results in an inability to focus your awareness because your awareness is distributed into numerous areas of your history, each one draining a degree of your attention.
THE WHOLE and HOLY TRUTH
Everything from depression to lack of creativity to blocked intuition to being out of touch with one's own emotions to an inability to tap into the resources of Energy Medicine has its roots in living outside the energy field of present time. For all of the many workshops and lectures I have given on the nature of intuition and intuitive development, the lack of clarity that people describe in terms of being out of touch with their intuitive voice can be explained quite simply. You are focusing are too many things simultaneously, so how can you possibly hear one clear voice? You are too many places at once. Intuitive skills are not gifts; they are skills. And the key to refining that skill, quite simply, is reducing distractions. Collecting your fragments from your history is where you begin and this beginning point, I can assure you, is far more effective that turning to a vegetarian diet. How in the world can broccoli and rice cakes help you become intuitive? That's ridiculous. You can eat sides of beef on a weekly basis and become a genius intuitive if your energy is in present time (along with having a respect for your own opinion.) You can consume only organic food while running thirty-five miles a day and "omming" until dawn, but if your spirit is raging about your history and saturated in regrets and unfinished business, you won't be able to intuit your left from your right hand. So there.
YOUR PERSONAL WORK: LIVING ACCORDING TO THE FIVE RULES FOR STAYING IN PRESENT TIME
For the next month, I would like to encourage you to practice becoming aware of living in present time. The following five rules will provide you with a structure that will help you focus.
